#Summerlove (Pico de Loro)

Under the shade of palm trees and immaculate umbrellas, contentedly sipping piña coladas or chilled coconut drink fresh from its husk. The view is overwhelmed with the pristine beach shore and different hues of azure stretched out miles away.

Pico de Loro is enclosed by mountains and the sea, a perfect getaway from the city buzz of Metro Manila. Since we have a notion that summer cannot be "Summer" unless it involves a trip to the beach, we did just that, and booked ourselves for a great vacation.

But mind you, Pico is also not accessible to everybody and it also not accessible via public transportation. It's an hour and a half away from the city proper and is nestled in the middle of nowhere. You also need to have a membership or have the said member to recommend you, for you to access the resort. We hired a van since we were too lazy to drive ourselves there and it was much more convenient.

On our way to Pico, as we were travelling along the Cavite route, we passed by this beautiful scenery. We told our driver, Kuya Danny, to stop by for us to take some pictures lol. We couldn't resist! Maybe it was because of the pre-vacation excitement jitters hahaha.

Upon arriving to the resort, we were greeted by the receptionist for the usual guest stuff. When we were already settled in the unit we were staying at, we decided to roam around the resort to check the facilities out and where the beach is.

The second day is our beach day! We woke up late since we were all tired from the trip and it was already after lunch when we went out of our cave haha!

The sand is not as pristine as I hoped it to be, but the sandy beige color gave it a homely beach feel.

 The ba-nuh-nuh boat ride! I've ridden the banana boat countless of times, but doing the activity together with my friends was more fun and memorable. :) We're also lucky that even if it's still considered as peak season, the resort was not over-crowded.

After our trip to the beach, we decided to lounge by their infinity pool located in their clubhouse. It was the perfect spot to relax and watch the sunset.

Food

To be blunt, the food in Pico is not cheap. The cheapest meal they can offer you is around Php 350, more or less. But they do have a mini convenient store that sells some groceries, so it wouldn't burn a huge hole in your pocket. 

Overall, I enjoyed staying at Pico and hanging out together with my friends. Though we have cashed out a lot of money, it was truly an adventure and an experience that I could never forget.
